The ESRSAB (as established during the kick-off meeting) consists of renowned EU scientists from the top class EU research Institutes (Department of Molecular Biology, University of Geneva, Switzerland; Department of Cell Physiology and Metabolism, University of Geneva, Switzerland; Department of Cell Cycle and Cancer, Institute of Cancer Biology, Danish Cancer Society, Denmark; Department of Molecular Biosciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo, Norway; Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Technical University of Munich, Germany).

The Board agreed to support and to provide know-how transfer to NKUA-CRG. A senior Manager from industry (Mr Spyridon Foteinos) and a Department Head from Travel and Congress services (Ms. Sissi Lignou) have been also formally appointed as full member of the ESRSAB. Mr Foteinos is the Executive Vice President for Corporate Research & Innovation of LAVIPHARM S.A. one of the leading Pharmaceutical companies of Greece, with extensive experience in drug development. He will provide consulting to PMT regarding issues of lead development, public relations, and exploitation and dissemination activities. Finally, to implement the tight link and continuous monitoring of INsPiRE by the official governmental structures for research and technology development in Greece a senior officer from the Department of EU affairs of the General Secretariat of Research and Technology will be invited to participate in the ESRSAB.
