Job Description:
Experience researcher. Candidate should demonstrate experience in the relevant S&T research domains of NKUA-CRG. Several publications in internationally quoted scientific reviews are necessary, as well as at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research employment in a research legal entity. The evaluation criteria for the selection of the applicant(s) will take into account: a. Scientific background and track record in relation to the project demands; b. Abilities as an independent researcher to the research topics of the five NKUA-CRG departments, and; c. Experience on the instrumentation that has been installed. The recruited researchers will complement the existing human resources capacity of the Department; will maintain lab management, train and assist new PhD/MSc/undergraduate diploma students, monitor the performance of the equipment infrastructure and will participate in the preparative phases of the several scientific topics of the project. Specific expertise(s) may include, molecular pathoJob opportunitieslogy, DNA damage, DNA replication and origin activation, molecular-cellular biology techniques, cell and tissue histologymorphology and manipulation (microdissection).
The selected ER will work in the frame of the FP7-REGPOT-2011-1 EU project “INsPiRE”. Annual gross salary including social charges will be according to the qualifications. Contract is expected to be signed at January 1st, 2014 and for the period: 01/01/2014 – 31/08/2014.
